Friday, November 25th, 2011I was able to witness a street parade this afternoon. It was quite a different one from any that I have seen in my whole life and maybe because of the fact that I am in another country.
I was lucky to be chosen as our firm’s representative for an international quantity surveyor conference. The host of the conference is a country that I have never visited in my whole life. The conference was a three-day one. The last day of the conference, which is today, is a special day for the capital city. The whole city is celebrating and this afternoon, they had this wonderful and colorful parade. It was quite a long one but I never got bored.
I am really glad that I was able to experience the cultural part of this country. It really is a great anda unique experience for me, one that I am sure I will never forget.
