Church Events Easier to Organize Using Address Book Software

Thursday, January 26th, 2012

My wife is very involved with our church. Recently she started volunteering to help organize all types of church related functions like picnics and prayer meetings. She really loves to help people but was having problems planning the events because most of the contact information she needed to make arrangements was not well organized. So I purchased some address book software for her that I thought would make it much easier for her to save and organize all the contact information for the church members, friends, family and pastors. She has been using the contact management software now for about three weeks and says it has been a huge time saver for her and now she feels she can efficiently plan almost anything. She also likes the capability to be able to send email announcements to the contacts and print labels for those without a computer. I guess a little technology can sometimes be a big help.

My First Attempts at Writing Christian Poems

Sunday, November 13th, 2011

Well I can’t really call myself a Christian poet yet, since first of all I haven’t officially published any collection of christian poems, and secondly, if you read my writings, you really wouldn’t call them poems more than just scribblings or random entries. And these are entries which will really have a specific audience in mind. I doubt that my collection of Christian poems will make any kind of profit. No, instead, it would be a favor if anyone would by it with the aim of contributing to my financial welfare. Well, that’s just being honest. I certainly wouldn’t be able to reach the high brow crowd, who constantly read groundbreaking and cutting edge poetry, and who probably attempt to write their very own and to get published as well. This is something that I’ve previously encountered in the past, and I wasn’t too happy with this kind of arrogant crowd.
